Description
The body is cylindrical in shape, with a cup-shaped extension in the lower part. The lid is stepped. A ring with figured cuts in the form of quadrangles and crescents. Handles are made up of paired, curved, openwork pattern, plates. In the lower part of the handles there is a relief hook-shaped protrusion. Escutcheon plate is oval, stylized as a flower outlet. Faucet slot is faceted, the nose has a relief overlay. Valve handle is 8-shaped with short branches. The neck is hollow. The base is round, stepped, the lower level is embossed, stylized as a flower whisk. Legs are wide, protruding forward, with triangular slots. On the body there is a stamp: “I. F. Kapyrzin’s steam samovar factory with sons in Tula”, the image of the trademark – the letter “K”, framed by vignettes and the inscription “Approved by the government in 1899”.
