Description
The body is in the shape of a sphere, the wall is smooth. The lid is smooth, with a low top. A crown with a wide side, bent outward downward, the edge is decorated with relief ornaments of a plant motive. Slots on the crown in the shape of quadrangles and crescents. The handles are made up of paired upwardly curved plates stylized as plant stems, attached to the body using paired oval convex overlays. Escutcheon plate oval, with grooves. Faucet spout is faceted with a relief overlay at a nose. Valve handle is 8-shaped, with short branches. The hinged ash-pit with slots, the same shape as on the crown. The bottom cover is hinged, with a shaped handle. Three high legs, curved, openwork pattern, are attached by screw thread to the body. On the lid there is a stamp: “Vasily Batashev in Tula” and prints of 2 medals (partially erased).
