Description
The body of the samovar is in the shape of a vase, the wall is engraved with double smooth columns. The lid is flat, with a high central part. The crown is with slots in the shape of rectangles. The circle is narrow, flat. The handles are made up of paired, upwardly curved plates connected by an oval relief overlay at the bottom. Escutcheon plate is round, with an unexpressed relief in the form of grooves. Faucet spout is faceted, with an annular protrusion at the spout. Valve handle is 8-shaped, with short branches. The high neck with two rows of rectangular ash-pit slots. The base is square, the legs are rectangular, protruding forward. On the lid are faint prints of 3 medals, on the wall are the same prints that are not readable. Time and place of manufacture. Presumably made in Iran, beginning of the 20th century.
