Description
The body of the samovar is made in the form of a vase. The wall is smooth. The cover is stepped. The crown is not high, with slots in the form of curly rectangles. The circle is wide, smooth. The handles are composed of paired plates, with a relief in the form of inclined grooves in the central part, curved upwards. Handle plates are connected by a figured relief overlay. Escutcheon plate is round, embossed, stylized as a flower outlet. Faucet spout is faceted, with a relief protrusion in the form of a ring at the nose. Valve handle in the form of a trefoil. On the neck, the ash-pit slots are the same shape as on the crown. The base is square. The legs are rectangular. On the lid there is a stamp: “Vasily, Alexander and Pavel Batashevs in Tula” and prints of two medals: exhibitions in St. Petersburg in 1870, the other medal is poorly distinguishable. On the base there is the same stamp and print of the medal “For hard work and art”
