Description
The body is in the shape of a sphere. The wall is engraved with stripes of geometric ornament in it’s upper and lower parts. The ring is ribbed. The lid is decorated with chased inscriptions “The hand of the giver will not be poorer” ( literal translation ), “1869” (in Cyrillic). The crown has a straight border and a cut out inscription “You wont find, grandfather, for someone else’s dinner” ( literal translation – a proverb about how it better to do things yourself ) Handles are lost. Handle plates are flat and decorated. The faucet is shaped as roosters head, eyes are inlaid with a red gem. The valve handle has been lost. The legs are decorated in the shape of chicken paws and a rooster’s tail.
