Description
The body of the samovar is made in the form of a pear. The wall is engraved with ovals. The circle is flat, wide. The handles are made up of paired flat plates curved upward and connected at the bottom by a convex overlay with a relief in the form of grooves. On the plates, a relief is applied in the form of three oblique grooves. Faucet spout is faceted, the nose is with a relief in the form of oblique grooves. Escutcheon plate is convex, oval in shape, with a relief, stylized as a flower outlet. Valve handle is curved, eight-shaped, with short branches. The base is round, stepped. Legs are curly, in the form of “paws” protruding forward. The lid is stepped. On the lid there is a stamp : “Factory of Yegor Egorovich Batashev in Tula” and prints of 2 medals:
- with the profile image of Alexander III and the inscription “Russia”
- with the profile image of Nicholas II and the inscription “agricultural exhibition”
