Description
The body is spherical in shape, on a flat wide base. On the base and upper edge of the body there is a relief grooved strip. On the wall there is a coat of arms and motto: an image of a hand clutching two twisted snakes and the inscription “Stellis aspirate gemellis” (stars influence their doubles). Circle in the form of a straight side. The lid is flat with a conical top. Grip in the shape of a wide ring. The handle is c-shaped, curved, in the middle part – a cylindrical grip. The nose narrowed upward, curved. The legs of the base are high, curved, the bases are stylized as paws. Bent plates connected in the center by a ring extend from the legs. A spirit pot in the shape of a flowerpot with a hinged domed lid is inserted into the ring. A tube with a wick is screwed under the lid. On the bottom of the bulb is the stamp: “Bros. Crichton New-York-London”, on the spirit lamp and on the body of the mound English test hallmarks: “leopard head”, “running lion”, “LAC”, “p”and “q”. The Kettle is attached to the base using a piano loop and two rods on chains.
