Description
The body is in the shape of a cup, the wall is engraved with faces and wide ovals on the front, back and sides. At the top of the case is a wide ledge. On the wall of the case, a chased ornament of a plant pattern. On the front oval there is an oval medallion with a faded engraved inscription in French. On top of the inscription a coat of arms depicting a lion, the coat of arms of Belgium, is soldered. On top of the shield is a crown and two knight helmets. On the ledge of the case – a wide decorated strip with a chased ornament of plant character. The lid is flat, with a domed top on a high cylindrical leg. The top is decorated with chased floral ornaments. The grip on the lid is flat, oval. Handles are loop-shaped, vertical, with embossed grooves along the entire length and leaf-shaped embossed extension in the upper part. Escutcheon plate is round, flat. The faucet with a molded ornament of a plant motif. The valve handle is made of a flat oval-shaped bone plate. The neck is narrow, high, hollow with a round, wide base. In the central part of the neck there is a narrow strip of ornament in the form of convex rectangles. In the lower part of the neck there is a decorated stripe of a chased floral ornament. The base is square, with figured ledges, along the lower edge is a strip of narrow ornament of convex rectangles. Hemispherical legs on a round flat base. Along the edge of the base of the legs is a narrow strip of ornament of convex rectangles. At the bottom there a stamps: “D”, “A”, “E. P. “,” B. M. “,” G 8586 16 “.
