During the master class, you will find out what traditional forms of samovars exist (all of them are represented in our museum). Then you will choose the samovar-base of the form that you liked most, come up with your own author’s decor and create a design panel in the form of a samovar. You will use dried flowers and herbs collected in the vicinity of Grumant and Yasnaya Polyana to decorate your panel.
Near the museum you will find a unique playground with samovars (enlarged copies of the exhibits presented in the museum), as well as a teapot, cups, and spoons. Every child that visits the playground enters a fairy tale about a real Russian tea party … And in the evening a projection show decorates samovars with floral ornaments and patterns. It was this show that inspired us to create a floristic master class, in which everyone can act as a designer of a unique samovar.
