The art of creating miniatures has been going through many centuries. The mastership of miniature is seen in arts, sculpture and handicrafts. From now on you are invited to discover the mysterious and incredible world of mini-masterpieces in our Museum of samovars and bouliottes.
Our Museum exhibits the unique collection of miniatures of samovar artifacts of historic value and 5 cm tall. Fine technique in metalworking, accurate patterning and details of true masterpiece along with unique author’s approach make the work of current miniature masters similar to the one of of XVIII-XIX century rarities.
Discover the history of creation of ‘Steam train’ bouliotte by Warsaw manufactorer ‘Frage’ or samovar ‘Rooster’(1869), designed based on sketches by I. Monigetti and see pieces of art with your own eyes in our museum where you can also find the mini-replicas by Russian jewelers. Together with the collection of rare samovars their mini-replicas we exhibit unique original mini-versions of the same samovars, such as, for instance, the unique samovar ‘Leshiy’(wood spirit) by Karl Fabergé or vessel- samovar Pi Xcu by Chinese masters.
