In December, a magical holiday program awaits guests at the Museum of samovars and bouillottes! We invite children and adults to take part in interesting excursions, exciting quests and entertaining workshops.
New Year quest:
“Mission “New Year” or snowflakes’ journey to the land of samovars”
Once upon a time, Santa Claus gave his messengers – the snowflakes – an important New Year’s mission. Snowflakes left the winter forest and went on a journey to the Museum of samovars and bouillottes. While solving puzzles and getting acquainted with the museum’s exhibition, the game participants will be able to find out whether the snowflakes managed to fulfill Santa’s task, learn about his favorite samovar, create a magic garland, and the end, enjoy a real New Year’s surprise that awaits all who take part in the quest!
Price – 350 rub/person
New Year workshops:
“New Year’s wish ball”
For centuries, sphere-shaped toys have been the best Christmas tree decoration. It is believed that bright shiny balls hanging from the Christmas tree branches, act as protection from trouble, and bring peace and prosperity to the house. Many samovars in our museum are very similar to New Year’s balls: with round shiny sides, decorated with various ornaments. Inspired by the beauty of the museum’s collection, you can make your own designer Christmas ball. When you hang it on a Christmas tree, do not forget to make wish for the New Year!
Price – 300 rub/person
«Samovar for Snegurochka»
If the Snegurochka (snow maiden) drinks a cup of tea from a samovar, will she melt? Of course not! In fact, during our master class we will tell you how to make a real winter samovar for Snegurochka. Decorated with sparkling snowflakes, frosty patterns and shiny sequins – it will be the best gift for Santa’s daughter! And what will Snow Maiden enjoy with her tea from the winter samovar? Ice cubes? In our museum of samovars, tea is not served with ice cubes, but with snow lollipops “in a Grumantian way”! Come and try it yourself!
Price – 300 rub/person
In addition to the New Year’s program, you can order a fascinating tour where you will get acquainted with a unique collection of samovars and bouillottes and learn about the history of samovar production in Russia and Western Europe.
